Power is what will gain you abilities on Darkness Arising. What is power you say? Well you gain power when you post in specific places on the forum.
Ways to gain Power;

+Only three/four abilities per character,
so make sure that you choose wisely.
+A character cannot start with an master level,
they have to earn it.
+Please remember to add what your characters
abilities are below their signature.
Once you have filled out the form below and it has been accepted, it is final. The amount of power of the ability will be taken from your character but they can gain some new power.
Element control[/SIZE][/color][/font]
Vampires have the ability to learn one element in their lifetime, however some don't even manage to succeed with one. This is believed to have come from their demonic roots.
Fire[/SIZE][/color][/font]
Basic Level
Able to conjure a weak fire or heat. This won't always work for the vampire using this element, as it takes practice. They are subject-able to small burns and mentally weakening until they have this element under control.
Power required: Thirty
Moderate level
Able to conjure a medium sized fire at will. This will usually work for the vampire using this element but it is highly likely that the flame will go out of control, unless the vampire has practised. As this element is considered the most dangerous, it drains the vampire mentally and physically more than the other elements.
Power required: Seventy
Advanced level
Able to conjure a large sized fire at will and be able to mostly control it. They are now also able to fight and use their element at the same time, but It does still drain the vampire mentally and physically.
Power required: One hundred
Master level
Able to conjure up huge fires and fireballs that are dangerous to other vampires, lycans and humans. They are able to control this element, but there are moments when it can be unpredictable.
Power required: One hundred and twenty
Water/Ice[/SIZE][/color][/font]
Basic level
Able to conjure water at will through practice and patience. This element is easier to control for a beginner but it doesn't drain them as much as some of the other elements.
Power required: Thirty
Moderate level
Water users have the choice of learning Ice powers at this level, which drains them more than just water would, but can be considered worth it in the long run. Able to conjure and manipulate water at will, but still requires practice.
Power required: Seventy
Advanced level
Able to conjure and manipulate water and ice in a combination without practice needed. Can only conjure up large amount of water and it is limited. They hardly feel as many effects of conjuring up this element any more, and are usually able to fight and use their element at the same time.
Power required: One hundred
Master level
Able to conjure and manipulate water and ice in a combination instantly. The amount they conjure up is unlimited (but please be realistic) And they feel no effects from conjuring and using this element any more.
Power required: One hundred and twenty
Air/Storms[/SIZE][/color][/font]
Basic level
Able to conjure up small whirls of wind or breezes through practice and concentration, and drains them physically and mentally.
Power required: Thirty
Moderate level
Able to conjure up medium sized winds or breezes with slight concentration and practice. And will only slightly drain them.
Power required: Seventy
Advanced level
Air users have the choice of learning to create and control moderate storms at this level. They are able to conjure and control larger amounts of winds, and hardly feel any effects.
Power required: One hundred
Master level
Able to conjure and manipulate air and storms in a combination instantly. The amount they conjure up is unlimited (but please be realistic) And they feel no effects from conjuring and using this element any more.

Earth[/SIZE][/color][/font]
Basic level
Able to disrupt the earth in small parts or grow plants/other through practice and concentration, and it drains them physically and mentally.
Power required: Thirty
Moderate level
Able to disrupt the earth moderately or grow plants/other through practice and concentration, and it will only slightly drain them.
Power required: Seventy
Advanced level
Able to disrupt the earth or grow plants/other without practice but still requires concentration, and will hardly drain them
Power required: One hundred
Master level
Able to disrupt the earth or grow plants/other on an unlimited level (please be realistic) And they feel no effects from using this element.

Basic level
Able to conjure up a small amount of darkness that isn't damaging to others, but this ability can be extremely draining to any one.

Able to conjure up a moderate amount of darkness that can be damaging to others, but is still rather draining because of it's source.
Power required: Eighty
Advanced level
Able to conjure up a vast amount of darkness that is always damaging because of what it is. And because of this, it still slightly drains the user.
Power required: One hundred and Ten
Master level
Able to conjure up a almost unlimited amount of darkness that can be extremely damaging. It barely drains the user, unless it is for extended amounts of time.

Telekinesis[/SIZE][/color][/font]
Basic Level
Can only move small objects a small distance before they become tired mentally and weakened. And are unable to reach a target properly without practice.
Power required: Twenty
Species
Moderate level
Can moved small to medium sized objects a medium distanced before becoming tired mentally. Able to make objects reach their target at a slow speed, but it drains them.
Power required: Fifty
Advanced level
Can move heavy objects a fair distance (within reason), without becoming too fatigued. They can usually hit their target but this requires more concentration and will weaken them, but not as obviously.
Power required: One hundred
Master level
Can move any object, any distance (within reason) without becoming tired or fatigued.
Power required: One hundred and twenty
Mind Compulsion[/SIZE][/color][/font]
Basic level[b/b]
Able to convince someone to do small tasks every now and then. Needs practice and will slightly weaken them after being used.
Power required: Thirty
Moderate level
Able to hold one person under their influence for only one hour at a time. Also needs practice and will mentally and physically weaken them.
Power required: Seventy
Advanced level
Able to hold up to four people steadily under their influence for five hours at a time. This is draining mentally and physically on them, depending on how many they are holding under their influence and how long.
Power required: One hundred
Master level
Able to hold a crowd of people steadily under their influence for a day at the longest (within reason). This is still draining mentally and physically, but isn't as noticeable them as the weaker levels.
Power required: One hundred and twenty
Age restriction: 800+
Precognition[/SIZE][/color][/font]
Basic level
They are only able to see flashes of the future that may or may not help them figure out what is going to happen. This can happen at random times until some control is gained. But this isn't an ability that you can really practice, and afterwards they might have a side-splitting headache.
Power required: Twenty
Moderate level
They are able to see longer sequences of the future and are usually able to get a sense of what is happening, but may or may not be able to figure out the place of where it will happen. This will drain them mentally only a little.
Power required: Thirty
Advanced level
They are able to see even longer sequences of the future and will usually know where it will take place and exactly what will happen. (Unless something before the actual thing changes and makes it different)
Power required: Seventy
Empathy[/SIZE][/color][/font]
Basic level
Able to feel the emotions of everyone around them. They usually find it difficult to turn off and so, this ability requires plenty of practice but can also be rather draining.
Power required: Twenty
Moderate level
Still able to feel the emotions of everyone around them, but are able to shut it off and focus on only a select few (such as their victims) and can feed slightly off the emotions others feel.
Power required: Fifty
Advanced level
Able to turn off the emotions of everyone around them almost completely (only tuning them into their victims) and can feed off the emotions that they feel from others if they are particularly strong.
Power required: Eighty
Master level
These ones are able to shut out any emotions besides the select few people. They are able to feed off these emotions to help them when needed (like for fighting) and can even make others feel nothing if necessary.

Voice manipulation[/SIZE][/color][/font]
Basic level
Able to convince someone to do small tasks every now and then. Needs practice and will slightly weaken them after being used.
Power required: Fourty
Moderate level
Able to convince someone to do their bidding for only half an hour at a time. This also needs practice and will weaken them.
Power required: Seventy
Advanced level
Able to convince four to do their bidding for at least three hours at a time. This is draining mentally and physically on them, depending on how many they are holding under their influence and how long.
Power required: One hundred
Master level
Able to convince an entire crowd to do their bidding for an seemingly unlimited amount of time (within reason) This does weaken them, but it isn't as noticeable
